Having an issue with lights in my discovery one. All lights was working fine then all of a sudden when I went out in it next the dash lights wasn't working I've then realised the rear offside side light doesn't work but the brake light does work. Changed all the bulbs and still got the problem no dash light and no rear side light. All fuses are ok as well

1995, I intend getting the multimeter out tomorrow and checking all that. Just curios if there was any common fault or anything anyone already knows it might be

First point to check for me would be the fuses..... multiple of anything electrical failing suggests a fuse/fuse box fault. Maybe mice/rats/squirrels decided to dine out in your disco....

What you need to do in cases like this where the bulb is known to be good but not talking to the electricity, give it a good hard smack with your prominent hand but not so hard that you crack the light lens. I have been employing this method of repair for many different electrical devices and circuits from tellys to lights and it seems to work more that 50% of the time. Good luck.

Did they go out while driving ?

Has it rained recently ?

Have you a multi-meter /

The dash illumination plus the offside front and rear side light circuit and glove box lamp, is protected by fuse 8 in the under dash fuse board. So only one fuse involved, voltage missing from the fuse will suggest an iffy lighting switch. Simples.
