Hello,

I no longer has any power brakes in my K reg classic,

Took the seat out to change the seat motor and now have a warning on the dash and have no assistance,

Ideas ?

you don't say which seat you have had out but assuming you have it fitted, the ABS relay is under the passenger seat in a RHD, could this or the associated loom have been disturbed? From my experience they are a little fragile and require a bit of tlc, mine is now on its 3rd relay. Martyn

Drivers side seat, which relay is it ? On if the metallic ones or a green one ? (One is getting very hot)

Spent hours with the seat to put it through its MOT and have now ended up with something worse lol

What lights you got on the dash?

Can't think of anything brake abs associated under the drivers seat but there are a good few fuses to break.

Is the abs pump running.

I had a K plate Classic 3.9...parked up overnight and the next day started her up pulled out of the parking space and had zero brakes.....turned out the pump had just given up the night before and the last few pedal pushes as I parked up were enough to discharge the residual pressure and the next day had no brakes.....

Put 12V to the motor and see if it runs!

I know less than nothing about ABS systems, but fwiw I would have a serious look at any relay that gets seriously hot, even if it's nowt to do with the problem.

Yes there is power to the pump, really hoping I haven't smacked the module when putting the seat back in, have changed several relays now due to braking on removal,

Anyone know where to get them from ?

New is insanely expensive

Got any part numbers on these relays? A picture too?
I have a few used Yellow and Green ones Says R6KD on the Yellow ones and R6K9 on the greenies.
