Yeah I'm on about 3 other Land Rover forums one of which was LRUK but since it crashed and burned and for the last 2 years been there since 2008 it started to go down hill I got very disheartened so I joined OLLR to compensate for LRUK crashing and I won't be rushing to go back if at all

You ever tried asking a question on ere. You get a dozen or so concrete answers, all completely contradicting each other.

Not really. I have known how to do everything on my own vehicles for years. I think after a bit you get to know who the authoritative posters on each subject are, and just ignore the rest.

Generally, the advice I see posted is good. But I wasn't really thinking of landrover stuff, more subjects like animal husbandry, medicine, politics, tree care, building.

After 35 years operating and working on landrovers, I think there is only so much to say about them, so I don't! :) Except to answer technical queries in a simple way.

:eek:It's DOWN again ! Summat to do with domain name !:rolleyes:
Ohhhh Errrrrr.
Sorry, we have had to close the forum due to the domain name having been taken from us. We will be up and running again in the near future with one of our original domain names. You can stay in touch both via Facebook and Twitter.

... due to the domain name having been taken from us.
How's that happened then ? I assume it was bought fair and square - then someone has claimed a right to it ? There's a lot of shenanigans goes on with domain names if you don't keep on top of renewals

Bit like the manager of Tesco standing in Sainsburies car park with a sign saying, Come to Tesco, innit?
More like one of the pubs closing temporarily, and us having to use another pub in the meantime. I can imagine it being a tad annoying, but we'd welcome you if the situation were reversed :)
