Has anyone else had their fuel sender pack up all of a sudden? I only ask because mine did tonight, luckily at tesco , so food wasn't a problem, anyway rac diagnostic was the fuel sender! Now what's a realistic price fir a garage replacement? I only ask because we booked a campsite thus weekend and want to get away!

Yes they do suddenly fail.
If it's only the fuel level sensor. Then there's no bursting rush to fix it. Just fill the tank every 350 miles or so. ;)

I'm not receiving much fuel to the front pump, so it's off to the garage today for another sender! Maybe the weekend can be rescued , or maybe not ........

Well that all fixed, new sender, filter and some new hose all done for 400, now I got a engine warning light! Garage says temp faulty sensor, problem is the one they say is faulty was replaced 4 months ago? Now would a temp fault affect the engine warning as I thought the 3 amigos would come back to haunt me?

Is it the coolant temp sensor, or the air temp sensor? Either could give a warning light (but not the three amigos).

Specific code would help.
