Land Rover Discovery 300TDi
After 3 years of faithful service I must now part with Matilda to fund a camper van.
In good used condition
If you want a show winner this isn’t for you, it’s a good reliable work horse with some scuffs and scrapes.
The 300TDi is the most reliable and easy to fix as it has no electronics on the engine or suspension.
Seven seats
Good on 26 around town 31 on a run
I think tax is £225 but best check
Cheap insurance I pay £250 a year as a second car
Big heavy duty battery
Factory fitted tow bar with electrics.
Nice shelf fitted to the rear door ideal for camping etc.
Fire extinguisher
CD radio
No leaks
Recently had the following
Two brand new front callipers and new Ferodo pads
All front brake pipes and hoses replaced.
Four new glow plugs (top quality not cheap ones)
Sills replaced with box section and usual rust areas replaced, brand new rear cross member fitted. I have photos showing all the work.
The bad
The rear arches are rusty, these are not an MOT failure, just cosmetic.
The horn and hazard lights have stopped working?
Mot until Sept 9th but its only done 1000 miles since the last one so I can’t see it needing much.
£1595.
I am just off junction 7 of the M62 I will add pictures as soon as I have washed it!
