Hi all top of the weekend to you! So this is the rear leftside height sensor from my 1996. Its the earlier type. If you look closely at the bottom of the image you'll see half of a rubber mounting that appears to have shorn off. Does anyone know if this piece has a part no and can be purchased or perhaps does someone have a scrap one they wouldn't mind parting with please?

Cheers!

Cheers for that. Just read Rave. It says "CAUTION: ensure that the rubber mounting does not become damaged". Oh well..

Guess no one yet has a P/N or can take one out of a breaker?

Mount is bonded to the rear radius arm ANR3543, it does not appear to be available separately. Good news is they are only £935.35 each from Rimmer Bros. Super glue maybe the best option for a quick fix.;):D

after all the thought and engineering that went into these buses.... They thought, hmmm let's just glue this important piece onto the the arm???? A bit of inginuty needed..

It works fine until some ham fisted individual twists it off trying the remove the sensor arm. A bit of rubber grease helps.

Oi! I resemble that statement! :p
Sadly I think that's exactly what happened. Thanks everyone for the araldite and other suggestions. Obv I intend to bodge this and not acquire a whole new radius arm, even from a breakers. What a joke.

Can you get a jubilee clip round it to hold it together with the glue?
