Just snagged a brand new Rocard roof spot bar off of Fleabay for 60 quid. I need to drill through the gutter to mount it. What goo shall I use to stop the new holes from rusting? Will copper slip work or a bit of wax oil?

I'd use a bit of touch-up paint if you've got any.

nice bar - I've just fitted similar to my Disco, I found that there's a decent range of LED lights by "Mictuning" but don't buy them from Fleabay as the same oneson Amazon are much cheaper. 6 x 3w cree LEDs in each makes them really good. They also do an option for flood or spot beam (I've got floods on the outer lights and spots in the centre).

(plus you can be really cheeky and sign-up for the free Amazon Prime 30 day trial, this gives you free next day delivery, then you can instantly go on to the Amazon site and cancel Prime and it will run for the 30 days then not charge or renew - so free delivery and free 30 days Amazon Prime plus the spots are cheaper. BARGAIN !!)

Grease is better for protecting from damp on panels that don't get exposed to direct or pooling water I'd use some paint or gasket glue.
I saw some fixings you can get that clamp around the gutter like transit van roof racks do so wouldn't have to drill can't remember the name though
