Basically fields behind the pub!

Last time I went they had showers and toilets behind the pub for campers, water taps and there are now, I believe, 10 electric points if you want to hook up! I'm definitely going through this weekend and will have a lot more information on Monday. It's used by loads of different groups, bikers, festival goers, walkers, DoE award groups and the pub itself is pretty different and usually well stocked!

Only issue is that the fields are pretty much on the top of a hill, so if the weather is windy, you feel it! Surrounded by dry stone walls though, so there is shelter.

When I go on Sunday I'll take pictures ..

Thanks Paul, I was just wondering about the essentials like toilets and maybe a shop, so from what you say, I think those are basically covered. As for possibly being windy, we can just use the vehicles as wind-breaks.. :)

If you go up this weekend Paul you will see a biggish red tent with a tower stood at the side of it with a load of aerials on top ! double dare you to ask them if they are on CB ! LOL

Hah, think my dad was in that group, he lived at Elkesley! Sadly I can't remember his Ham callsign, he died maybe 15 years ago.

Sorry about the dates, but we had to take the first available really ...

I'm not going to be able attend this anymore. After 8 years, it's been decided that I can no longer be out of the office at the same time as my manager, even though my manager couldn't do my job if I showed him!!!!!!...:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
So after booking the ferry, I've just had to cancel it, which has cost me £200 words cannot describe how angry I am right now
