Looking at buying this ex-SAS Range Rover...

I know lots of people like to jump to the conclusion that if a non-standard ex-mil RR is being sold it must be SAS. However, as I said above They are not the only ones to use them. So if 'used by the SAS' is what floats your boat , make sure 'used by the SAS' is what you're getting.

Having just read the blurb on the Brooklands site, it doesn't say it was ex SAS .it gives a potted history of the Reg.says the vehicle went through the SV dept of R/R and it has a secret history.well so does Grrrrrr's wallet

Quite - very cleverly worded - basically it's a Classic that went through SV shops for some reason.

I used to drive one that was a SV shopped one. It never went near Hereford, but spent a lot of time driving up to DERA sites in Scotland for "ahem"
