Discovery 2 D2 for sale, spares/repair.

Selling my D2 auto, knackered gearbox, 2nd hand one put in 8 months ago but its gone again, i decided to buy another D2 instead of repairing it again. Its epsom green, XS model, good condition, 162,000 miles, sound chassis, head gasket and oil cooler done 2 years ago, recent new water pump, rad and thermostat. Engine runs fine, not a drop of oil or coolant lost. MOT until Jan 2018.
I'm not breaking it as i want it gone asap. Open to reasonable offers.

I've also got a D1 300tdi which wouldnt take a great deal to get it roadworthy but i never get time to fix it up and its clogging up my driveway. I'll take £150 for it if anyone wants it?

Probably not for me as I have too many projects here already but what sort of offer are you hoping for on the D2?

Alternatively, does anyone know of a gearbox repair shop in sussex who can repair rather than just send it off to ashcrofts?

I'll look them up. I'm ideally looking for someone like jamesmartin who can repair rather than send it off like most do.

Just looked them up, they only do manuals- mine's an auto

I use Bramble 4×4 in Robertsbridge if he can't fix it then it's not worth fixing.

Hi mate, do you know what his average cost is for a repair? I know its going to vary a fair bit depending on the issue but i'm thinking clutch pack. (I know the flex plate is cracked as well)
