well I have tried my best to get members to buy tickets but its not looking good, I will now leave it to the Mods to decide what's going to happen, thanks to all the members that have bought tickets and to the people behind the scenes for all the hard work they have put in. fingers crossed things will go mad in the next few days but I cant see it happening sorry.

Sitting here on a damp bank holiday monday and thinking ,with a heavy heart ,about work tomorrow.
Really looking forwards to LZ13 and keeping my fingers crossed it goes ahead....really fancy a day's laning with old friends and new and an evening of banter and beer around a campfire.

Could be worse, I've just finished work :confused::p

Beer and banter round a fire sounds like an excellent idea :)
 
There's a famous country pile called Stanford,
That's noted for fresh air and fun,
LakesRob and his 110woman
Went there with young Gabriel their son.
They didn't think much of the guest list,
T'was looking quite fiddly and small,
So seeking to boost the attendance
They tried to get more to the Hall.
Now Gabe had heard about Accy,
How he was ferocious and wild,
But seeing him just sit there
Didn't seem right to the child.
So straight up the brave little fella
Not showing a morsel of fear
Took his bottle jacks rusty old handle
And shoved it in big Accys ear.
Now you could tell that Accy didn't like it,
For giving a kind of a sneer
He pulled Gabe in't beer tent with him,
And necked another cold beer.
Now Beasty who'd seen the occurrence
And didn't know what to do next
Said Heidi, young Gabe's in the beer tent
And Heidi said 'eee, I am vexed'.
Gabe's mother had to be sent for
Sam came and said 'what's to do?'
Roy said young Gabe poked our Accy
They're in the beer tent with one or two.
Neilly said right's right young fella
I think it's a shame and a sin
To poke Accy for a laugh,
And after you've paid to come in.
Now Sam who had wanted no trouble
She took out her purse right away
Sayin' "'Ow much to settle the matter?"
Beasty said "Wot do you usually pay?"
But Accy had turned a bit awkward
When he thought what her Gabe had done
He said "No, someone's got to be summonsed!"
So they went to talk to Mod1.
Everyone heard what happened to Accy
And Dippy thought it was hot
When Mod1 gave his opinion
That Accy deserved what he got!
 
Is there not the possibility that the event details be sent out as an email / PM to all members ?, just in case some have not noticed it, Forgotten about it.
