Transmission problem again

After just less than 2 years I've started having problems with the transmission again, started off with clunking and a noise which sounded like a wheel bearing going but also when reversing on lock it was clunky and notchy, Had a look underneath and there was play with the diff 2 mounts were knackered so I changed all 3. Now took it for a test drive and there's a loud whining noise, possibly from the front. Took the prop off and the noise has gone. Can someone tell me what this could be? diff, transfer box and prop were changed less than 2 years ago, prop was a recon.

But was the VCU a (decent) recon and have you tested it?

Are you running 4 identical tyres that are pumped to the same pressure?

Best way is the 1 Wheel Up Test - 1.2m bar 5kg of weight and a time under 1min is ideal...

I get clutch judder with it to, which was changed 3years.

Is it a pertol?

Diesel

There's a good chance that the box splines we're lubricated correctly when the clutch was replaced. This causes sticking and judder on take up of drive.

Unfortunately it is. If it's a TD4? Was the DMF changed at the same time?
