D2 lift, not sitting level

Afternoon all,

looking for some advice please, I've just lifted a d2 terrafirma springs and shocks on the front and spacers with extended shocks on the rear.

now I've got it back together its sitting higher on the passenger side than the drivers, especially at the front rears not too bad (could possibly put that down to a worn bush) but the front there's a 4cm difference.

im wondering if I've done something wrong?

im sure I've read about this elsewhere but can't find it.

any help would be great.

Either it is sat on the wrong part of the spring seats - drive it backwards and forwards a short distance whilst operating the steering, and brace yourself for the "clang" as the offending spring seats itself - or the springs are on the wrong side of the vehicle - or possibly both the above, if you've been really unlucky!

( assuming they are the right springs )....

As @Disco1BFG has already postulated, you might have the springs on the wrong sides.
Generally and according to RAVE, in a set of front springs, there's about 1/2 inch difference in the free length. The longer one should fit on the right hand side for right hand drive vehicles.

I think they're the right way around, marked up as d/s and p/s, drivers side passenger side? Just took it out for a quick run hit a few speed bumps and parked up on a flat car park and remeasured, it's still not exactly even but its alot closer than it was. maybe it just needed to settle in.

Terrafirma springs do actually say what side the springs are meant for. They're written on the spring

And yes, suspension does need to settle and work a little before they sit correctly.
