Freelander 1 Window problem

Hi everyone was out yesterday and had my window down and now it won't shut had to put bin liner on last night is there any way a can just get the window shut until a can get round to fixing it. Put a nice pic in thread as I know you's love pics haha

Remove door card, then polythene water barrier and try and push up window. Might need to unbolt the bit that holds the window. Push up and wedge with piece of wood. That seems to be the common temporary fix on here.

I've just done the same thing to mine took the regulator to bits was a rotten cable motor and gear box still works so ordered a cable kit off ebay see what happens when it arrives

Yeah mines still making a noise as though it's trying to wind but cable must of snapped
