Using the open end when you could have got a ring on that bolt head? Do you really think it's worth rounding off heads and skinning knuckles when you're down to the last few sheets? Tut tut...

Yeah, that did worry me for a while - the bog's the last place you want stuff rounding off. That's why I welded the spanner to the bolt and now it's never gonna slip. Dunno why I didn't think of that when trying to undo my propshafts too.

Cool, but SWMBO would NEVER have any of that in our house....I'd be dead and buried below a new patio before she'd let me have anything like that in here.

Another piece - flywheel trivet. Don't think it's a Landy...
Stripped, de-rusted, coated with vegetable oil and heated in the oven to form a lacquer coat.

Landy clutch to increase the base weight of a previously unstable floor lamp.
