i am in need of a new screen for the MOT, is it worth going down the insurance route as access is £75, can I request a heated one be fitted?

or should I just purchase a new screen and have fitted? if so where best to get heated screen and who to have it fitted by?

Do you have everything else to make the heated windscreen work? Is the Heated screen kit already fitted on the vehicle?
Not much good having a heated screen fitted if it does not heat.

easy enough to fit a switch a relay and a timer

I ended up paying to have mine fitted, think it come to £250 in the end.
It's the best mod ever. Won't be without mine now.
Like you said, wires, switch & a relay, easy job.
