. I am not sure what she is worth though I spent a few hundred recently on the VCU. She has lots of service history and has been regularly serviced. I personally think she is in nice condition in Alveston red and the interior is very clean especially for the age. Body has some age related marks but overall is in good condition. Currently on SORN and hasn't been run for a month or two meanwhile the MoT has just expired on March 1st. There was an advisory at the last MoT that the rear brake pipes were slightly corroded and I have given this some attention. She looks great with the back off in summer. Mileage is 148000 but the engine seems to be fine. Any questions please ask. Open to offers as I just want her to go to a good home.

Hi John
I saw this on ebay - I'd be tempted - it's for the Mrs, and she specifically wants a 3 door auto, which aren't that common.
Unlike me she likes everything to work (I drive an Alfa 166....!), How many wife annoying niggles?
I'm fairly spanner capable if I have the time - last LR mechanical work though was a 1968 Series 2A!
Mileage is a bit high, but it generally doesn't bother me.

Lack of MoT is a faff - worth it if after a few 100 it's a reasonable car - what's the Service/Mot History like?
Other than the hassle - any reason you don't just MoT it?

I'm in Derby, so a run over to you isn't too bad.

As for value - there's another one in Southend - with an MoT - on ebay at the moment.

Paul
