Thanks for the input, I have got rid of the water, lifted carpets used a Karcher to suck out the water, put a humidifier inside the car, its parked up at work from Monday to Friday, humidifier pulled out gallons of water, (no exaggeration) will look into the iid diagnostic tool, will pull up the center consul and spray, reverse works with no problems, drive is ok 90% of the time.

Would a hard reset cure the radio? it works, screen lights up but of switch wont work, screen is yellow with no writing on screen.

I read it wrong in the first instance, you cant use the SAT NAV screen its just the 'Info Centre' between the Speedo and the Rev counter that gets used

sorry i read it wrong as well

aplogises

that would be a nightmare

have seen where silica bags have been placed around electronic equipment that have got damp with some good results

ref the water in the floor channel, have u seen the update ref the windscreen out trims, water can get into them, allowing water to travel and sits in the floor

i removed the outer windscreen trim, covering up the bottom hole with a tyre puncture rubber and used glazing silicone , no more ingress of water , once the windscreen trims go back on it's all hidden

here's some pics of when i done mine , cleaned it all up first

it's the bottom slotted hole that u cover up , remove the plastic bit off ur windscreen trim

will find the update from land rover as well for u ,

know u left the sunroof open but this is also something to look at

Which is the best to buy, Found a non BT one for £285 inc VAT. or a BT one for £410 inc VAT.

BT one , hands down the best

as u can then use a mobile or ur ipad

can read and clear faults

turn things on and off

flash the main ecus

set up and adjust ur suspension

update all 15 x ecus

others will also verify the iid for u

please make sure u the oil pump has been replaced or if not get it done

reports of them failing ,

have u had all the cam belts etc replaced

just wished to give u a heads up if u weren't aware

just bought one £410 today from duckworth-land-rover through ebay

i got the entire manual printed out

well worth for some evening reading

or maybe it's just me being sad enough to read it , lol

is good when u read the faults , i sent the report to my printer , can also send it to ur email

then clearing the faults , then re reading them

mines a 2005 , flashed the ecu to the 2007 so it also shows the time in the instrument panel

turn the 3 x indicator flash on

also set up the automatic door locking through the i button on the end of the indicator stalk

is a great bit of kit , will tell u the last time the landy threw its dummy out

agree with @biggeeeee , service from them is second to none, they are based in canada

extremely knowledgeable and always very helpful

if u need any help there's a few of us that own the iid
