I earn a living too, just had a day off to sort the Rad out!

All was well until this morning when I think the heater matrix is now leaking! - it never ends!

Not seen you around the RR section much lately, trust you and yours are also well Joe.

So your day has been less stressful then. Had a 300TDi come in the shop for "failure to start after loss of power". Turns out the cambelt tensioner had sheered off and suffered some valve slap (the pushrods look like this ~ now), which is great because I changed the cambelt last June. The boss was surprisingly calm about it. I'd photoblog the engine change, but I'd probably forget.

Not just derv, anything over 10 years old is getting the cold shoulder in London now, they bring down the look of the neighbourhood or in the official speech "pollute too much". So you need to pay a £10 charge on top of congestion charge. Various car parks already double your parking fee if you run a diesel too.

Quite funny actually, as that is what the excessively oily part on a face is called. Beauticians, in their eco-cars, running London perchance?
