Discovery 2 bumper question

Hi All,

Today my wife parked the disco into the house. Easy mistake as we don't live in a big house.

Just looking for a quick bit of advice. Will fit a second hand bumper, does it have to be a td5 (pr facelift) or will another fit? Is it easier fitting any colour and getting it sprayed up to match? What sort of price should I look to pay? Does anyone have a bumper they'd like to sell. Any advice welcome. Feel free to joke at my expense too. Thanks in advance chaps.

Lastly, it's still running perfect 3 yrs later on 100% bio for general info.

Well sounds like the house jumped out at her.....

Biggest problem ( pun intended) is that are big things to ship and hope they do not get damaged, so can get expensive to courier. I know a breaker near me ( oxfordshire) who may have one. ( no affiliation) If you want the details then let me know and I will PM them.

But it does sound like the cheapest option may be a tubular bumper / steel bumper. Unless you are lucky to find one locally.

Bumper prices for these cars are obscene! Mental money but yet seems to be always plenty for sale on ebay

Interested to hear you've been running it on bio diesel for three years with no problems.
I've been running my 300 tdi on my home made bio diesel for over 4 years with no problems, but I've been thinking about changing to a td5 when my disco finally gives up the ghost. I'd like to keep using my bio diesel. Does the electronic voodoo cope alright with it?
