Rear Fog light swap sides

Hi there, I recently imported a UK spec LHD 2008 Defender 110 into Sweden, and by law here have to make the fog lamp to the o/s driver's side, where it currently sits on the right side of the car. I have read that earlier models had both plugs in the back for ease of swap, but mine does not.

Is there any easy solution before I go cutting wires at the back and running them to each side of the car? I have the NAS spec fog/reverse lights too. Any assistance would be appreciated!

Could you make up a harness to go from one side to the other, plugs, sockets may be available

As above, I'd just extend the cable to the other side.

I don't know how the wiring routes on later models but if it all comes out the chassis on the OS like earlier tratters....
Swop lens with the reverse light and swop wires where they are accessible after they exit the chassis.

Yes... looks like I will just have to run wires across the back to each side... I know it is not difficult, but thought maybe there was another option like swapping pins in the harness plug under the bonnet to avoid cutting wires

So upon looking at the lights more closely and pulling the wires out more, I find that the swap has been done before, quite well, with the wires welded and then taped very well. Then comparing each side, we found that indeed LR has wired up the car for the swap to be very easy, just a matter of swapping the wired over that match each side and using new connectors bingo, Fog and Reverse swapped.
