Hi all, I have done some searches but can't quite find what I'm looking for.

My 2004 TD6 L322 has a battery drain problem (surprise surprise) it's seems to be linked to the BCM (body control module) as I have managed to get BCM to shut down (gear selector lights go out) a few times by pulling a bunch of fuses.

I don't know whether the issue lies with the module itself or something on its circuit, can anyone inform me exactley what is on the BCM circuit or any other ideas to try and track this down.

I have pulled all climate control/heated seat fuses and disconnected all info tainment ecu s and doesn't make a difference.

Thanks

The BCM controls the whole cars systems, they, pretty much, all at some point interact with the BCM.....to tell you what it does and controls would need a tome the size of the workshop manual....

Do you have the RAVE manuals?

It will tell you in the System Description and Operation manual what and how the BCM controls etc.

Ok perfect. Thanks for the link

Looking at getting an all comms diag but exchange rate so bad at the min. I was going to post a wanted post if anyone had one second hand but not enough priveliges

Okay thank you. I will bare that in mind.

I'm armed with my amp meter and a fuse draw tester this weekend to try and pin this dean down :-/

Someone had said actually that you should take 2 fuses out to do with the amp etc when doing a parasitic draw test, do you know anything of that ?

Thanks
