So is this weekend open to all?

Have you got room for a newbie (and the missus if I can convince her to come along to make the tea) if we can manage to get a weekend away? Would be nice to put faces to some of the names, and to get Disco a little mud to play in - you'll have to be gentle with me and point me in the direction of the soft-option lanes (did someone mention scratch-free laning?) as i'm new to this and not used to getting stuck in proper mud - plus I've gotta drive it home and then to work on Monday too!

Did I read somewhere that we can even bring the caravan (civilised camping - fridge for the beer / kettle for tea in the morning / comfortable bed!!)? I'm not into those tent things, I always wake up with the inability to stand and walk properly for about a week (and it's nothing to do with the local livestock or anyone's dog!!).
 
ok, so put us down as a 'maybe' on the list - will have to check we can both get that weekend off work and get a sitter for kids as they a) aren't really interested, b) will go into complete meltdown when they realise there's going to me no TV and no wifi, and also someone to have the dog as a) slightly worried who's tent he'd end up in going by previous comments, b) he's a little boisterous and not overly well behaved so best not upset everyone on our first year (i'll leave that until next year!).

Think we may struggle this year to get a disco.....im working on getting a band to play on the Saturday night at the moment. If anyone knows of anyone or is in a band themselves then drop me a PM and we'll pay you handsomely in gratitude, endless cake and the odd pint or two.

Hi all, I'd be interested in coming along this year. Last year was a blast, really good weekend nice to meet everyone. Will be coming with a trailer tent, the mrs and pooch. Sadly lexi (our akita who came last year had to be put down) but don't fret, we a zorro, a 5month old brindle and white staffie :) If you need any help organising anything let me know, eager to help if I can.

The idea is to encourage people to come for the weekend and enjoy meeting and getting to know each other.

If anyone comes for just the Saturday thats fine but most of the costs are associated with having everything in place for Saturday so it's been decided the ticket cost stays the same.

I hope that makes sense.

It does, unfortunately I can't make it the whole weekend as I'm working six on two off at the mo and can't spare the time. Also I'm usually up around 3am so I'm in bed fairly early on my second day. Plus the fact I might not like you all and wouldn't want to spend the weekend with you :D:D:D

And as for the wife coming, you'd have more chance of peeing in the Queens handbag :p
