Hi guys

Wondered if any of you could give me any pointers as I'm borrowing my mechanics Nanocom this week to save my current map on my ecu to an SD card... But as usual I'm scared lol!

Cheers

Thanks neilly just had a look has anyone done this here and it is a long winded process?

Only want to do it as I will have a back up file then will get a remap by Dyna chip

I have done it,

Very easy to do, as i understand it the big risk is if you were to write to the ecu using a nanocom and the power dropped.

Cheers

As above, reading and copying the map shouldnt be an issue, writing a map however....

Tbh mate Dynachip does an excellent service and you won't want to revert. However if you want a copy it anyway then you may be best off borrowing the Nanocom when Dynachip comes round and have him do it for you.
