A Few More pictures of the latest arrival....

These are taken from Original "Car and Classic Ad" from Last year, and from Seller this year.
No doubt there will be more as I start the clean up and sorting other odds and sods that want doing.
This will likely take a while as I am still on with the 90's Turbo change (inc intake and breather pipe replacement) as well as anything else I find needs attention under the bonnet.20160401_123816.jpg 20160401_123838.jpg 20160401_124245.jpg rrc1.jpg rrc2.jpg rrc3.jpg rrc7.JPG rrc8.JPG rrc9.JPG 20160120_115550.jpg 20160120_115558.jpg FOT327C.jpg rrc4.jpg rrc5.jpg rrc6.jpg

After this mornings school run, I set to and gave it a good external scrub and a quick polish.
Got too warm out to do a proper cut back and wax, but it's made a huge improvement.

Well, the new addition is on the road, and she is more than happy with it.
It came with numerous used and new spares with it.
Not that I've had a chance to go through them all as yet, but apart from some glow plugs, I couldn't see any for the engine.

So, if anyone has any leads on suppliers of service items for the 3 litre perkins 4.182 / mazda turbo engine, I would appreciate it.

Well the "honeymoon" is over with the Rangey, to buy one with no electrical faults was a lucky happenstance, but the other week it threw it's first fault at us.

The side lights worked fine, but opting for headlights killed all the lights.
So after a few days of awaiting delivery, the headlamp stalk and the indicator/main beam/horn combination stalk have been replaced and all is good again.
I also ordered a new Auxilliary lighting stalk, but it's come with a tripple connection plug, rather than a twin plug.
I can see there are 3 wires coming into the loom plug for the stalk, but it has two into one and a single making it a "twin bullet" connector not the triple connector the new stalk came with.

Am in two minds to either rework the new stalk plug, or try to get it exchanged for one with the correct connector.

If it's a Mazda HA 3.0L unit then Motor and Diesel will still be able to supply everything for the engine, albeit at a cost.

Anyone have a spare Gear lever for an 81 4spd 4 door Rangey?
Our's just snapped on the otherhalf as she drove into the works car park. It's snapped almost at the bottom.
