Hi all,
Please, can anyone help me to find a full wiring diagram for my 1985/6 Range Rover LHD chassis SALLHAMV8BA1609** with four sticks lighting/wiper operators on steering column and full blade-type fusebox inside passenger cabin.
Diagrams for 4-glass-fuse-under-bonnet is no pronlem, same with inside-cabin blade fuses. My car is obviously some-of-this-and-some-of-that model as it has a mix of both..

Helge

I've checked my (manuf.) workshop manual but the diagram is described as '1986 onwards' which presumably means the model year which would have been introduced in October '85. Unfortunately I have no means of scanning the pages, but the Haynes manual 'RR 1970 - 87' (ISBN 1 85010 405 0) has several pages of diagrams that may help you.

I have two old Haynes manuals that might have what you need, plus maybe diagrams in the LR Workshop manual although this one is 86-89 specific. Which diagrams do you need me to scan ?

thank you for responding. as I have this mix of specs, most important would be fuse block, minor switches and column switches. I guess that door electrics and engine/lights will be found with newer/older respectively..
thank you again.

ps. i just ebay'ed the haynes book .

Well when your Haynes arrives, let me know if it doesn't have correct diagrams, and I can check if mine are same or different.

btw, I am a Norseman myself, living on Norway's south-western coast.. :)

Glad my advice (such as it was) may help you Helge. Having the Christian name Norman 'Norseman' seemed an obvious choice when I first signed up to the forum. I used to have friends in Norway back in the 'nineties when I owned WW2 ex military vehicles & used to visit fellow owners who were members of 'Historiskp Militararp Kjoretopers' (probably spell that wrong, sorry) & my friend was based at Valer, near Moss. Wonderful people & a grand country, sadly I've long since lost touch but I still hope to return, perhaps with the RR, one day before I get too old

He he.. Nice try, but the full name is Historiske Militære Kjøretøyers forening. I am not a member but some frieds definetly are With the Kriegselefant (Zundapp KS750 sidcar motorcycle).
Have a Nice day.

I was reading the name (in script form) from a souvenir mug I was given by your countrymen when my group took several vehicles to Norway in '96 & were guests of HMK at the Civil defence barracks at Valer. Our host was 2IC of southern Norway's Civil defence.
If you ever want a chat, feel free to PM me - hope you get the RR problem sorted, have a nice day yourself Helge.
