Hi,
I have a 1994 Land Rover 90 country turbo diesel 179K with rear side benches,
It's in need of new shock absorbers and a little welding on the windscreen supports.
Also the doors are corroded

What kind of value is the vehicle worth ?
Cheers james

I'll offer you twenty quid in used, untraceable notes, half a Mars Bar and a tin of black shoe polish!
And that includes delivery! :D

It is of present day standard size, still in its original packaging, and currently being saved for posterity at a constant, controlled temperature in a fully functioning refrigerator, although I might be tempted to exchange it for said Landy ;);)

Nice. Well I am quite interested tbh, what sort of landrover did you have in mind I may be able to steal one for you. Also is the Mars a Team GB edition one? Thanks.

The only Team GB Mars Bar I have is ever so very slightly partly used, although the teeth marks may polish out with a 6000 grit sanding disc.
The type of Landy I'm looking for is a 1948 80" centre steering wheel model, with the 1500 injun.

Mine, a 1989 12j (2.5TD) cost £2k about 2/3 years ago ... which also needed a bit of work.

They reckon prices have gone up since with the final demise of the Defender, but I don't think the rise has sustained itself 'cos there are still cheap Landies to pick up, especially 'cos the doors are expensive as are the windscreen/bulkhead repairs, 'cos believe me, if it looks like a slight bit of rust on the outside it's riddled with it inside the bulkhead/windscreen mounts. You can't (easily) weld the screen fittings, it's alloy!

You also need to post a much better, recent picture, mine looks nothing like this now .. :)

Oh, and Mars bar ... psshawww, I have a mint Curly Wurly. Well, not mint, but mint, you know, the condition not the flavour, and an original Wurthers, un-sucked.

Dunno if I'm over selling them though ...

When are you lot going to grow up....

It's worth at least 2 litres of limited edition choc fudge moo milk, a signed Thorntons easter egg from last year and the remains of a roast chicken dinner :D

I have a 1994 Land Rover 90 country turbo diesel 179K with rear side benches,

For example, 1994 could be 200, or it could be a 300.

And there are a whole host of other variables.

You probably need to give more information if you want more than the output of a (semi)random number generator : )

I'd guess £4,000 in today's market if the chassis and rear crossmember are OK?

Id say less if it needs bulkhead work. As ive said before, people pay for shiny. If its not shiny, its just landrover buyers, and they probably know the effort involved, and also seen other vehicals sell for less.

On the information given, id say 2.5-3.5k. Countys are not the same premium on 90s as they are on 110s.

I actually reckon prices have dropped, I often look on ebay for 1993 defender 90 and reckon you can get a nice one for 4k and one with a galved chassis nearer 6k.

My stepdad was talking to the guy at Wardmans. Apparently the supply of defenders has completely dried up, so I would have expected the price to go up. But yes I reckon they have gone down, figure mine is worth £5500 which sucks

I honestly think that, if someone offers you five and a half for it, you should take their money before they have a chance to think twice.
