Hi Everyone - long time since I last posted (apologies)...also apologies for posting this in the wrong section on first try!

Wondering if you knowledgable people know what material people use to make their own turbo oil feed pipe?

Referring to the one that bolts on to the side of the turbo - mine is currently covered in metal braid. Can find replacement for 100 quid but seen that they can be made. Not sure what material though as silicon wont take the heat/oil and metal wouldnt flex enough (would it)?

Thanks in advance!

Considering its use, location and consequences I'd be very tempted to stump up. Or see if anything else fits (19j, 300tdi)

Thanks Discokids - will keep that in mind as a back up!

I know they can be made but just dont now what material! 100quid for a short run of pipe seems excessive!

If its the return pipe I would have thought any hight temp hose would be just fine, quite a few trucks run this very set up, but they do have an initial steel pipe approx 8 inches long.
For feed pipe Im sure any hydraulic place could fit a flex pipe to your existing ends after all hydraulic oil gets very hot.

Thanks all! Will take a look to see if the 19J one would work.

Will look in to the two other pipe suggestions above.

Thanks

Just done a little more research...the below picture is the same as the pipe im looking to replace but cant seem to find it anywhere...any ideas?

Thats the return pipe so basically cut off the flex section, get some decent silicone hose two jubilee clips and done.
