Series 3 brake servo one way valve

I replaced the one way valve / inlet elbow on the servo of my S3 lightweight with britpart 18g8953l as the old one was cracked it never fitted properly as its not 90 degrees so touches the brake reservoir and leaks air at the rubber joint

Ive since found another part number off a defender stc 493 which looks to be 90 degrees

Does anyone know if this will fit or is it possible i have the wrong fluid reservoir and that is creating the problem
