Hey does anyone know how to hook a aux port up to the stock pioneer radio in a 1995 range rover county lwb that has the harman kardon system with the sub in the back and the 6 cd changer. I know that guy from 4x4 or whatever can do it but I would rather do it myself and save some cash. Radio looks like this.

And the fm barely picks up a signal so I can't use a fm transmitter as well

Yeah, my FM isn't too hot. I did wonder about getting a second one and placing it on the rear window, or maybe the other side. Or maybe getting an external aerial. The higher models had 2 aerials, 1 each side.

Do

Hey that's my pic. So I'm guessing you found the website for the aux cd changer replacements. I love the one in my disco, but I'm a bit biased as it's my product. It's not a do it yourself project since there's a serial protocol handling the behind the scenes stuff along with a NLA 13 pin connector that I manufacture, but unlike the audio line taps that are all over the internet or the soldering mods to add an aux directly to the radio it does handle play/pause next and backwards through the head unit controls on certain iOS and android devices along with voice commands with optional microphone as shown here.

Waiting on the next batch of boards to arrive but they should be back in stock next week. Website is in need of an update, the full time job hasn't left much free time for that, but it's www.flyinghorsesolutions.com

I have a circa 2008 iPod touch that's full that I leave in the car on random and it's like a never ending cd changer

It's got both the round and rectangular 13 pin connector so it should work with older range rovers, though I haven't tested it with the style radio that's missing the "prog" button.

How does it plug in through the back of the radio or at the back of the cd player I do have a round plug that plugs into a wire that's runs into the radio itself and is connected to the radios board is that the round cord your talking about?

You unplug the cd changer and plug this in its place. They all have the round plug at the radio end. 95 should have a rectangular end at the cd changer side while older ones use the round 13 pin at the cd changer end.

And then you run the Aux from the back to the front?
