Hi,

I have to replace my drivers side window channel and rubber as the original one has rusted through and buckled. I have purchased a new channel [part no MUC2322 ] and rubber [part no MUC2325].

How do you fit the rubber into the channel alone with then glass? The strip of rubber once fitted into the channel is too thick to accomodate the glass window as well !!!

Is there a knack?? As always all help and advice appreciated.

Cheers.

And the answer is...... Use a genuine window rubber. Yes it's four time as much to buy but is thinner, more flexible and has a textured surface that grips the glass. I have had the door card off so many times I can now do it in my sleep!
