Changing defender seats for older style

Hi, I have a 1982 88" safari which has the defender style seats in but I fancy replacing them with the older style deluxe seats such as these -http://www.paddockspares.com/tr206-front-deluxe-black-vinyl-seat-set.html
They don't need to be adjustable as I simply want them fitted as far back as I can get them and cannot foresee a need to be able to slide them forward. Can anyone help with what I need other than the actual seats?
I think that I need to install seat frames but can't seem to get clear answers on this - anyone who has done this or has these fitted who can provide pictures would be really helpful...
Are the standard defender seats and frames that I have likely to be different to the ones fitted to the early 90/110's or was there a different version?
I'm thinking that the alternative is to use a re-trim kit and replace the cushions etc but again can't seem to get a clear answer and the cost of doing that is most likely higher than replacing with the older style seats...

i cant see why they cant be fitted, you would need the rails from a series landrover id say.
