Guys which sensor is this? Passenger side rear most sensor?

Thanks

Yep, passenger (UK) side.....the one without the oil cap on!

Upstream is the first sensor (before the CAT), down stream is the second (after the CAT).

Plausibility means, the ECU assumes the sensor is working, but the readings it is getting seem incorrect compared to the other sensors.... i.e. the reading it is getting isn't plausible based on everything else the ECU is receiving, but it cannot categorically say the sensor ISN'T working.

Brilliant thanks Saint, so its the first sensor before the cat I need to look at.

I see what you mean about Plausibility, sometimes the light goes out 10min into the journey and sometimes it doesn't come on after 3-4 months.
I also got this

If I put the foot down and rev to 5-6k rpm the light flashes for about 20 sec then goes off

Flashing Lamp mopst commonly indicates a misfire, but also means something is out of wack that can cause damage to the CAT.....which could be the cause of all your issues. Check the PCV valve, check of induction leaks in the manifold area and check your plugs and plug wells for oil contamination.

The Thermostat on the L322 is both a conventional stat and also electrical....normally the stat works like a conventional stat, but if the ECU wants more cooling, it will heat the stat coil, forcing it to open further and aid cooling.

Sometimes, the wiring to the stat chaffs, or coolant begins to track up the loom and into the ECU. check for both.

Thank you Saint!!!

Changed the O2 sensor and the light was still on so I pulled the plug for the electric thermostat....and the pins were corroded! Good clean with WD and a wire brush and the light is out! It doesn't even flash when traveling at 5-6k rpm

I would only recommend genuine O2 sensors, MAFs etc. Cheap ones are usually just that.

Agree but to get the light out before I sell it is the cheap option for me I'm afraid.

Bloody thing cost me near £1300 to get it MOT'd and sellable, now I don't want to sell it :(
