Hi all,

Having a problem with the Discovery air suspension. When I try to raise it to its off road height I get the bongs and the light comes on, but it does not stay on, nor does it rise up. The air springs are fine otherwise and ride as normal, (well apart from an ACE not working issue! Related? Light on permanently!).

I am about to service filter when it arrives. Been a bit lax here! I recognize it could be the transducer, but symptoms not as I have read. Though it is a Landy, so makes up its own symptoms. :)

Any insight appreciated.

Neither, unfortunately. Just a cheap version, but does have some Landy specific on it.

I guess I am going to have to find someone locally who can scan it for me

Hi biggeeeee,

Did not think ACE and suspension related, but thought I would mention it.

I think you have hit it on the head with the door thing though. I have a faulty tailgate that does not register as shut. Is there a way to bypass this by fiddling with cables? I have a new door to fit as hinges are goosed.

No idea re a bypass, best ask @sierrafery
Re the back door, I've just changed the back door hinges without removing the door.
Held it up with a ratchet strap over a roof joist, drilled out the bottom rivets, removed the door card, undid the bolts on the bottom hinge, replaced and then did the top one. Adjusted the door and what a difference.
