Disco 2 Disco2a, Front Bumper Middle

I´m a new member at LANDY ZONE since I bought my Disco2a for an affordable price here in Germany. Since them I´m driving my Disco with fun, passion and generosity, as I knew before, it´s fun to drive a Land Rover, but it will need a high level of tolerance. My experience is confirming this kind of philosophy.
Now I had a little crash and my front bumper is torn a bit in the middle. My Disco is built in 2003 and has no foglamps. Does anyone know, where I can get a new or used one. Is there an online platform in UK, that has body parts. Here in germany they charge a lot for parts like bumpers.

From what I can see, the middle bit of your bumper assembly is an exposed part of the main thing. The coloured caps on the ends are separate items.

The middle bit has to be replaced with the full bumper assembly part number DPB104630 and that's quite expensive, something like 450 euros, tax and carriage will be extra.

There seem to be a number of UK suppliers;

• Paddocks,
• Craddocks,
• Total Parts
• and one or two on Ebay

Living (more or less) close to you in Belgium, I know your problem.
I searched months and months for a used (pré facelift) bumper. New ones are made of gold and second hand ones in good condition are as rare as hell and almost as expensive as a new one.
Instead of investing your money in an expensive piece of plastic, maybe you should consider a steel winch bumper. New they cost the same as a plastic one, second hand they are much cheaper.
And they don't crack that easy

Many thanx for your replies. In principle you are right Nadjila. But I´m worrying about the visual appearance of my disco having a steel bumper in the front and a plastic one in the rear. I think, I´m going to wait until I find a used plastic one.
