Hello people been in to defenders past couple of years only just got myself one 99 TD5 90 in rioja red am in the middle of stripping it to put a new galvanized chassis on it am wondering do I need to contact dvla or just do it an also about the vin as Richards chassis wont put it on for me any advice pls

Welcome to the forum, I believe most people cut off the vin number from their existing chassis and keep that as proof
