My daughter had a small accident a while ago in her fiesta, it ended up on its side but was a slow one so no injuries just damage to the side it landed on, so i decided to buy the car back from the insurance, so i went to collect it today, it was a bit of a trek from surrey to ramsgate, the disco 1 has done 217k so i was a little concerned if it would be up to pulling the 4 wheel trailer with the fiesta on it, well it surprised me again towing with no problems all the way there and back, ive had it 7 yrs now and its just been the most fantastic car ive ever owned, its been off roading in devon and on salisbury plains and allsorts inbetween, and ive towed loads of stuff with it, dont think ill ever be able to part with it lol

I totally love my 300tdi too. It's in a Defender though nevertheless what an engine eh? I'm looking to get another Landy and it will only be 300tdi. For some reason they're still under the radar on price it seems the big money is in the td5 which suits me.
I'd imagine Discos are similar.
Just sharing the love!

Its just such a versatile vehicle, one minute its an off roader then its a seven seater, fold the seats up its a van, wash it and you can go out to dinner in it, it will sit at 70 on the motorway, it will run on veg oil, i mean why hasnt everyone got one lol

TD5 is holding price because they are newer vehicles, and also better than Puma.

Discos are NOT holding their price at all regardless of engine.

I'm currently driving a 300tdi disco while my 200tdi Defender is off the road. I have to say it's absolutely great. Comfy, quiet, fairly economical and it cost next to nothing! I wouldn't want the bill for fixing the rust mind!
