Hi just bought a 05 Freelander and the alarm is not working no red flashing light no flashing indicators or anything any ideas please

You will get a far better response if you go to the intro section, and indentify yourself, what vehicle etc and not ask questions with your first post here. I don't suppose you either used the search facility (top right hand of screen). There's a massive database to be had and very very few "new" issues on Freebies are discovered.

wow, that escalated! and I'm to lazy to find a meme for it.
I presume you're saying that when you press the button on the fob/key to secure the car, the doors' central locking locks but the indicators don't flash to show the alarm is activated and there's no tell-tale blinking led/light on the dash? If you press the button again the CL will unlock the doors but once again the indicators don't flash?
