P38 D fuel pump issue

Hi guys and girls

This is in relation to the engine driven pump.
The top plate on mine was leaking and failed MOT. By chance I had a brand new refurb one in my garage so supplied to garage to fit. Now the vehicle runs, but with very low power, i.e. Foot in carpet just to pull off struggle to get above 70, and consumption below 20mpg even at 60 with cruise control on, before ran sweet as just a leak? Please help if you can, Wammers if your on message me

Not sure how the law works in France but I'd take it back. Would it run if they pegged the pump at BDC instead of TDC when swapping? More likely just set the pump timing up wrong, I'm guessing.

Thanks, forgot to say, the work was done in UK this week, still in uk now

Suggest get it on diagnostics and check the pump feedback settings (Wammers will give them the correct name!!)
