I'm enjoying this ..might just have a go at my doors in the summer ..that's quite a seat in the back ..
Terry
matching one on the other side too. Kids tried them out last night and they were great. Theres more room in the back than in the disco!

I fixed the seatbox today.

Also robbed the spare i had off an old range rover classic and have fitted that to the back door. Its getting there now!

haha im sure someone somewhere must have done something like that! but alass no, just a little p80 jetcat.

Rooh loves helping daddy with projects now she is getting bigger :) She loves standing on the 90's seat and parping the horn and twiddling with the controls lol

Ha love it so you can guarantee when you come to start it the wipers and hazards will be on lol

I'm just starting a jetex Vulcan kit build once all the parts arrive but as jetex/rapier is no longer available thinking of converting it to mini ducted fan

Rearstep was delivered today so I'll fit that when it stops bloomin' raining. Also a new door card arrived for the drivers side looks much better than the battered original.

Picked up a half decent set of wings in the right colour from a nice chap in Northumbria today.

He had a right set of lovely 110 hicaps. All freshly done up for his business. Even the mrs looked like she was frothing at the other other mouth at the sight of them!

Going back to get a set of tidy wheels and tyres for her 90 and a bonnet too. :)

Jetex systems do occasionally come up on eBay but they fetch daft money!

Yeah I spoke to the guy at the vintage model company ( worth a butchers got loads of 60's kits available) and he said the majority of the ebay ones now are 40+ years old and have disintegrated over the years

Well ive been doing some more work on it.

Found that the rear spring mount on the r/h side was missing.
Also there was a small hole on the chassis behind the spring. Shot blasted it all clean to find said "small hole" was somewhat larger! also some damage around the damper mount.

Found the fuel filler is somewhat erm.... knackered.

Few holes in the front needed welding up.

Brake hoses have been replaced for new ones. The old ones were so corroded I am suprised they had not sheared off.

Got some LED front side lights to fit.

Have fitted a set of our verken led side indicators too.

original landrover grill fitted rather than a cheap copy.

I got a good set of 7.5 x 16 tyres and wheels from a nice chap over northumberland way too, to replace the 6.5's that are on it.
Should help with the driveway!

Nice job on the USB sockets, it fits in nicely.....

Looks like it's been there decades, is slightly grubby and unlikely to work :D

I always fit USB sockets :)
