thanks got copy of the manual ,,,,still don't find any problem solving with the manual,,,,check all the reference that manual give but no luck .....thanks gems regards LOUIS Bloem
ok,i have found a genuine land rover workshop manual, that gives very much more dedicated information, but it is not cheap.

Have you cranked the engine with the injectors disconnected? This is bad for the ECU as it can damage the injector driver circuit. The injectors are piezo triggered and as said already, run at a high voltage. Unplugging is bad. You won't see 12 volts at the injector or ground as both wires are floating. Ie driven by the ECU.

hi so what do you think that my ECU has died ...on brown and red /white wires test I get 8v (cranking) key on only I get 0.005 v....test brown lead to battery ground and get 12v ...if that makes sense to u,,,,ps my glow plug does not switch on (replaced with new NO luck ) ,,,,4 leads to glow plug relay brown 12v,, black/red 12v,, white/red 12v but the brown to glow plugs 0v <<<,glow plug tested 100%

You can't test the injector driver with a simple voltage test. You can only test the circuit with the injectors plugged in. This should be carried out with a break out connection but back probing will work. However you can't test with a DMM. You can only use a scope for this test.

What made you think it was electrical...you started off thinking it was fuel and you changed the two pumps....Have you checked that the pumps are working correctly and you are getting fuel, I've just had the same problem, although the pumps were working I wasn't getting any fuel as my fuel lines were ruptured at the five finger joint in the engine bay.

hi thanks tiny,,the reason I think its electrical is that I replaced tank pump front pump with fuel filter ,hi pressure regulator sensor ,so I am getting diesel to hp rail and to injectors but injectors fail to open, have replaced crank sensor as I was told that this may also be the cause but no joy sorry replaced glow plug relay ,,tested all fuse en relays not fault all light on dashboard on when key on except glow plug ,,,no engine warning or fault light ,,,,

I would have thought (not 100% sure) that if it was electrical you'll get a fault code - I don't know where to point you unless you look again at the camsensor - you only use it while starting - did you have any trouble starting it when it was running?

Have you read fault codes?

Have you checked output from cam sensor on a scope?

What's your low fuel pressure reading? If it's too low then the ecu won't enable the injectors

What's the high fuel pressure? If it's too low again the ecu inhibits the injectors

Need to do some quality diagnosis on this with the right tools, equipment and method
