L322 Speed Cameras

I fitted a MK4 satnav unit (BM54) into my 2003 L322 and it works as expected.
However, I can't work out how to display the speed cameras.
I can get to the menu that searches for, and lists the speed cameras and red light cameras but I can't see how to display them on the map.
Can anyone tell me how to do this?

If you drive to the speed limit and don't go through red lights you don't need that function. However once loaded they may trigger an audible warning when approached.

I just wanted to know how to enable the speed cameras, not a driving lesson.

I have been a member on here for few years now, and have always received useful information that has helped me to solve issues, on this occasion, your patronising input is of no help.

I'm sure that another member of this forum will be able to help.

You were given good advice take it. Or do you want to fly about like an idiot and be warned to slow down by the sat nav as required. Your attitude is wrong do you not see that?

My attitude is just fine, at no point have I mentioned "flying around like an idiot".
This is a function that is provided on my car, and I want it working.
You clearly don't know the answer to my question but thought that it would be appropriate to make assumptions about my driving standards.
If you don't know the answer to the question, don't bother to post, it is not helpful.
During the course of this exchange, I have been able to make some assumptions about you, but I won't be sharing them with everyone else on here.
Happy Christmas!

You want to be warned about speed cameras and red light cameras that need speaks for itself. If you don't speed you don't need to be warned about speed cameras if you don't run red lights you don't need to be warned about those cameras either. Grow up for Christ sake.

Make sure you have activated your speed camera's and make sure your map is zoomed into 250 yds or less elt's the camera won't show on the map!!!
hope this helps..........

Thanks in advance, my problem here is that I can't seem to switch them on.
I get through a variety of screens and eventually to a search option that lists all the cameras within a set radius but then doesn't give me an option to enable them on the map.
I am wondering if I am in the wrong menu but there doesn't seem to be anywhere else that mentions cameras.

I had a similar problem with the "perspective mode" but following a bit of web browsing found out how to enable this via a hidden menu.

Just for info, if you don't already know about this, these are the instructions that I found for the hidden menu:

1. Push the MENU button to get to the main menu.
2. Scroll to the SETTINGS menu selection and click the knob to select it
3. Push and hold the menu button for about 8 seconds to enter the GPS Service Menu.
4. Scroll beyond the bottom to a 2nd page, where you will see the perspective option
5. Click the knob on the PERSPECTIVE option to select it.
6. Go back to the map view and click the knob.
7. Select "Map Positioning" then "Perspective"

This worked just fine and I now have perspective (3D) mapping as I drive.
What I need now is the method of enabling the cameras
I'm a bit of a stickler for wanting everything working, if the car has the function available, then I want it to be operational.
