Can anyone recommend an Auto Electrician in Northamptonshire familiar with P38's?

Long story short- its been with a garage for 5 weeks, went in for a head gasket and front hubs and they decided to mess about with the lpg wiring (without consent) and now cant get the car to start. First they said it was the immobiliser (thread about that on here also) but it wasn't. They then had an LPG guy come in and disconnect the system (again without consent!) but that didn't work, its not the immobiliser or ECU (apparently) but they don't know what to do and have told me just to come and take the car away.

I need some one mobile who can meet me at the garage and give me an assessment & quote to fix it.

Car is currently in Wellingborough.

Many thanks
Richard

before you take it you require written confirmation from them of what they have done. If you take it out that door and have someone else start on it they will simply deny liability.
If they are not prepared to put in writing what they have done that tells you they are not going to admit anything.

Totally agree. This is their problem, not yours. As soon as you start getting involved in sorting out the problem you blurr the lines on responsibility. I would stay well away from the car until they either return it in fully working order or buy it from you at the full value of a functioning car.

Hi Richard, I am only 5 miles away from you in Braunston there is a very good Auto Electrician opposite BT tyres in rugby just off railway terrace but if I was you I would leave it there and let them sort it out cuz they bullzed it up, soon as you take it out they won't want to know.
hope this helps!!!
PS if you need any help just give me a shout
Cheers Kaz
