Disco 1 Help..Anyone knowledgeable on Landrover Propshafts??

Heres the story...last week replaced my ujs on 200tdi disco 1,
Cant have pushed a cap in far enough as it flew off at 65mph
Anyways on searching as i have a 2"lift im best getting a wide angle prop..(i know double cardan is best but i dont want to change flange yet)
So question is??
Tvb100610 sold from prices ranging
£50 -90
I have been told that wether supplied by allmakes or britpart etc.
That wether you buy the £50 or £90 version, the exact same propshaft will turn up but just be in a different box? (So sounds like moneys on the 50 version)
But...
Then theres Tvb100610g supposedly hardy spicer/gkn
With prices ranging from.
wait for it..for supposedly again the same part..
£80-275 ???
SO can any one tell me wether firstly why the difference in prices/..
And also will the £50-90 version
Actually end up being exactly the same as the £80-275 version???
Before i waste more money..and to back my theory i went to a wellknown supplier with my mates 300tdi rear crank seal as i told him not to use britpart but to take it with us and compare the part with the genuine..and what happens Landrover gen box is opened and a yellow britpart bag and seal comes out exactly the same one as he had in his hand already from britpart.
Not only that but the lr gen one had elongated holes on one corner that could cause another leak..so quality controls out the window aswell shocking!!!

Did you push cap in and fot the circlip agin which which are supplied with new ujs. As that wouldnt have happened if circlip was fitted in the groove

All 8 circlips fitted into grooves, Gkn 75mm ujs used, both ends of prop still on car ie on front dif and transfer case.( so bolts was done up tight)
To be honest im past that anyways more bovered about these part nos, cheers

if you want oe buy the hardy spicer one if you want pattern buy any of the cheaper ones

Britcar- 78 exc vat,
When island 4x4 have same advertised at 275 exc vat.
These both advertised as Oem.
I was always understood that Oe is the same as pattern.
And Oem is original spec.
This is my confusion as an Oe part may aswell be a pattern as i understand, correct me if i wrong im not sure.
Also how can the britpart and gen seal my friend has be exactly the same if one is supposed to be Oem and the over pattern/oe?
Makes me wonder wether buying oe or oem you get the same prop anyways?
I hope not but this and many over of my orders from various places just helps back my theory.
I have sometimes ordered 2 lots of one part both pattern and oem and the same parts arrived??
Just dnt want the same for this and the rest of the parts i buy. Thanks again

If you are going to change to double cardan in future, just go for cheaper one

Im starting to think the same with this one lol,
Out of interest have you had the same theory/conclusions with this part.
Im not made of money an some people may just go with the most expensive just thinking you get what you pay for and do a degree so do i.But these landrover parts seem a different ballgame.

Had this all cleared up today via the honesty @ island4x4 today.
I will personally be using these from now on. Although i'd never usually touch britpart some things are worth looking into.
So for anyone else wanting to know the part number you see with Tvb100610G
Labelled hardy spicer..is not the hardy spicer I believed i maybe buying.
They come with HSL on the ujs.
Sold by many dealers as
TVB100610G -HARDY SPICER.

This hardy spicer company however that makes these are based in india, google search shows them as
Hindustun Hardy Spicer Limited.
These are the people making the props in the 80-150 price range.
These are no better than a Britpart £50 prop tvb100610.
So although listed a "G" item its actually not. Unless you get the real deal and pay approx £300 for a genuine GKN propshaft.

Island 4x4 could supply me the tvb100610g if i wanted but said dont bother! He doesn't sell them as he is more informed an knows what he his buying/selling(That would explain why there not listed anywhere near 80-150 on his website)
The only one they have listed is at 275 and its the geniune GKN prop.
