I was "huffing" because we ended up talking about window blowers. On another note, will my 110 fail it's MOT on emissions since I've de-catted it?

Oh I see, I thought you were talking to me
My 90 is decatted, as was my shogun before that. Neither failed the emissions. From what I understand, a well-running diesel doesn't need a catalytic convertor apart from ticking some EU emissions box. But, I could be wrong and i'm sure somebody will be along to correct me. What the future has in store, nobody knows. But, I think I heard that there may be a physical check with the mach 1 eye-ball for cat and EGR coming...

Hmmm if there is an eyeball inspection will Vilguy's technique for fooling the MOT man work? Looks simple enough, did you use cable ties or Nomorenails to hold the Cat in?

Can anyone recommend a decent used parts dealer or site? I need side steps urgently, my girlfriend is miniscule and the pleasure I initially derived from removing the door and grab handles and watching her try to climb into my raised 110 has now passed since I have to give her a leg up.

You butter the cats back, the cat is then totally immobile.
Its a well known fact that cats always land on their feet, and butter always lands face down, thus you create a paradox and the cat cannot move.

You would be better off buying new.
In my experience onece fitted side steps are a bu66er to remove after being on a few years.
They start to rot as do the clamps and fittings.
If she's that small can she legally sit in the front passenger seat without a Booster seat?

The best bits ive ever added where the smart car seats I got from vilguy a few years ago, so bloody comfy and the upper seat belt loops mean I can get the ragtop off without having a bar across the bulkhead for seat belt mounts.

you can get a new set for about £150
secondhand they sometimes fetch £120+
Id just buy new and avoid the hassle
