Discovery 2 Breaking 2003 D2 TD5 auto

Most parts available. in tank pump has failed and it wont start but it turns over. head lights have also been nicked.

engine and box ran smooth. headgasket went last year and was done by Elite Landrover. also gearbox replaced with a good second hand unit this year.

new rear air springs. 19 inch alloys, tyres barely legal if they are.

7 seats cream leather interior.

also got a preheater fitter with ebay remote. i also have some other preheaters for you to retro fit. these are on fleebay

Gav,just get it fixed,replace the headlights,use the anti theft kit you can buy now,it is a great car,pm sent a few weeks ago.

I will burn it, its the end of the road for me and landrovers!! I have found outcthough its deffo the pump tgats stopping it running!!

Had it been a driver, I would have got the train or a cheap flight down and driven home

ok,but Gav might get it going,tis only the f/pump,lights can be sought easily enough,maybe the earlier ones can be retro fitted for now?.

Just done the fuel pump in my own for its MOT last week.
Its not a big deal, takes longer to remove the rear seats and trim but all in all took less than 2 hours.
Most Parts places advise buying genuine as the cheaper ones don't carry a warranty

Im in the process of sorting the pump. One of the pins has pushed through so we will see how it goes. The pump actually works when taken out and run with 12v to the pins

what a shame that's the kind of thing I'm after , something that needs fixing as a project for my son and I to do

a disco 5 td5 auto , oh well like buses. , two will come along at once, lol

If you get round to deciding whether it's for breaking or you're keeping it, I would be interested in both the axles complete, including diffs and radius arms ..
