Hi I have a Landrover Discovery TD5 2000. I found oil in my water bottle. replaced oil cooler. drained oil and put water in. Leave overnight and find about 200ml of water has run into the sump (water bottle only empties to the cold start level). Does anyone know where this water is going through.

Welcome to the forum, at a guess I'd say head gasket or the head itself, are the pipes getting pressurised when the engine is running?

Yep, my money's on the head gasket. If it's the first time it's needed the head gasket changed, then you haven't done too badly after 15 years!

+1 on the head gasket. Unless you are going to do the job yourself I can suggest a couple of reasonable places to get this sorted for you, all depends where you are based in SA.
