Bake pedal goes to the floor!

Hey guys, any help now will be appreciated.
Started a few weeks ago with loss of brakes, the pedal went straight to the floor and I lost the brakes. Since the the brake pads have been replaced (because they needed to be!) all pots in the callipers were fine, next I replaced the master cylinder and had the full system bled. For some reason it was recommended to do this while the engine was running, anyway this seamed to fix the problem and the brakes were good for about a week, then today I go out and it's back to as it was before. We have checked for leaks, there is no fluid loss. We have a good vacuum to the booster and the non return valve is good. Now scratching my head trying to think of what to do next. Any ideas????
 
Sounds like mine nothing there until I've pumped the brakes a few times with the engine running.
I've changed calipers, discs pads and some pipes.
I've just put it down to a quirk on it being a landy :$

I have read somewhere that you need to bleed each wheel ending with the one furthest away from the reservoir. And doing it again after a couple of weeks.

Logically speaking it has to be air getting into the system thus not giving any pressure.
 
They are notoriously difficult to bleed. If your positive there not leaks I would bleed again.

Also you can ruin the seals on the master cylinder by pumping it too much when it's new or empty, if this is the case it's likely the fluid will have changed colour.

Is this a D1,D2,D3??

I don't pump the pedal at all when I bleed brakes. I attach a vacuum pump to the nipple, pump it, and pour fluid in the reservoir until no air bubbles are coming through the tube of vaccum pump. Then close nipple. I do it like that on all systems.
 
It's a D1. There are no leaks that we can find and there is no loss of fluid. There has been no colour change in the fluid. Will try and get it re bled using a vacuum pump. Cheers for all the input guys it's much appreciated.

Sealey vacuum extractor is good, and not fortunes. Use a little piece of rubber bleed hose on the end of extractors pipe to go on the nipple. Works well for me!
