If you can read this you have made it to the new system. We've been working on this for some time now, but I'm sure there will be problems and things not quite working right.
The picture gallery is still being imported, it will eventually be here!

We are now running xenForo software, which is a bit more up to date than the 6 year old vBulletin 3.8 software that we previously ran. Some new features you may like, some you may not!

Please reply to this with problems and general comments. Preferably constructive! Somethings have still to be added, some things have still to be programmed. Really we shouldn't have opened up the forum again so soon, but you all pressured us(well @Rosie did) :D

Please bear with us on requests and smileys and stuff, we still have a lot more work to do.

I know there is the watched forums and watched threads buttons at the top and I am yet to learn how to use them or find out if they'll be of any use! :rolleyes: But, I did like the My Posts and My Replies links on the old site. They made it easy to keep a grip on threads you were contributing too. And they happened automatically. Has anyone found the same or is it the two 'watched' options I mentioned above.

The images in posts seem to be a hell of a lot sharper to me. Far greater resolution - or is it just my eyes getting better as I get older? :)
 
Was trying to edit one of my old posts but the edit button has disappeared?????????
Any chance we can still edit old posts? I was using one to keep track of work done to my Freelander without continually bumping the thread to the top of the page.

Click your Username at the top left menu bar....
Go To Personal Details.....
Scroll down to the bottom where it says about yourself....
Roberts your mothers brother....
 
i'd tweak the posts, the messageUserInfo takes up a load of space, esp for one liners.. no biggy though.

you guys got a bug tracker to stick all these on?
 
The edit option on a post only works for 5 mins, currently.

On the previous forum we had storage of attachments. These were stored in yer user CP bit after adding the attachment to one of yer posts. You could like to them whilst stored on LZ. Are they still there somewhere or being moved over or gone? Don't care either way just wondering for future knowledge of options.

Previously we had photo's somehow stored against peeps profiles. Will these eggsist in future or have they gone? Just wondering.
