Only did the concrete base the garage is a Compton and must say is good quality, was going to have brick but would have cost more than double. They put it up in a morning.

Thanks for the reply honolulujoe
Enjoyed getting it to this stage but its all the small jobs to finish it that seem to take time, the thump feels like gearbox moving up and hitting something ?
Cheers

I replaced engine and gearbox mountings which cured a very similar issue for me once. Reversing was like I had oval wheels! Also worth checking that the flywheel housing is not resting on the chassis cross member as there isn't much clearance at that part - goes hand in hand with inspecting the mountings.

Your Landy is looking great btw!

Cheers for that land raver
It dose make more noise in reverse will have a look over the weekend and post a reply

hi
tried to fit a sender today but its a blue bag bodge. Instruction said to solder but would not take so see photo.
Landraver you are correct the gearbox is 2mm from the cross member so new mount required
Cheers
